Justice v. Revenge, what is the difference between the two?

Revenge is (v.) to inflict punishment in return for (injury or insult) but Justice (n.) is the quality of being just; fairness according to www.freedictionary.com so, does that mean that the two are basically one and the same? If not, then what are the differences between the two?
